RGA knows they're in trouble with Sununu, send out misleading email attacking Democratic candidates

Concord, N.H. - Today, the Republican Governor's Association sent out an email manipulating the record of New Hampshire Democratic gubernatorial hopefuls. These attacks came less than a week after Democrats won their 9th special election in 11 tries and after two damning UNH polls, showing that 65% of Granite Staters don't think they and their family will be better off under the Republican tax plan and that 81% of New Hampshire voters were undecided in the upcoming governor's race. NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: "This desperate attack on Molly Kelly and Steve Marchand is just the latest sign that Democrats are already making Republicans nervous in the race for governor. Since Governor Sununu first took office, Democrats have won 9 special elections in 11 tries, flipping five seats red to blue. Voters know that New Hampshire is slipping under Sununu's watch and they're ready for a change. This calculated attack proves Republicans know how much trouble they're in with a candidate as weak as Sununu whose only major accomplishments are passing a concealed carry bill, America's first voter suppression bill in the Trump era, and a budget that gave $100 million in tax cuts for the wealthiest 3% of corporations instead of freezing tuition, funding the opioid fight or putting a single dollar into workforce development and job training. Unlike Sununu, Marchand and Kelly's record of delivering for New Hampshire working families speaks for itself and will not be smeared by Washington Republican Party hacks."
