Concord, N.H. - NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement on the passing of New Hampshire Democratic State Representative Harold "Chip" Rice. "Representative Rice's passing is a great loss to New Hampshire and the community of Concord. During his time as a state senator and eight terms as a state representative, Chip was a steadfast champion for working families, public education, and civil rights and spent his last years fighting for the people of New Hampshire and on behalf of our shared values. Chip was well known for his many years at the helm of Bancroft Products and community organizations. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and loved ones. Chip will be dearly missed."
