Sununu lies about "zero tolerance" policy on sexual assault

Concord, N.H. - Today, Governor Chris Sununu claimed he has a “zero tolerance” policy on sexual assault and harassment. Sununu remains a strong supporter of President Trump and was one of the few who stood by Trump after the Access Hollywood Tape and subsequent sexual assault allegations. NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: “Despite Sununu's false claim that he has a ‘zero tolerance’ policy on sexual assault, he remains a strong supporter of President Trump, even after 13 women have accused Trump of sexual assault and harassment. Sununu stood by Trump throughout the 2016 campaign, even after the damning Access Hollywood tape was released. If Sununu really had a ‘zero tolerance’ policy on sexual assault, he would drop his support for Trump and call on his party’s sitting Republican State Representative Eric Schleien, charged with sexually assaulting a minor, to resign immediately. Sununu is once again trying to mislead the people of New Hampshire and showing he cannot be trusted to do what's right for Granite State women.”
