Concord, N.H. - Today, Governor Chris Sununu is down in Washington, meeting with Vice President Mike Pence behind closed doors. NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: "Governor Sununu has been the number one cheerleader on Trump's tax plan that would raise taxes on 70% of New Hampshire families. Holding a closed-door strategy meeting with Vice President Pence reinforces that Sununu is putting President Trump and corporate special interests before New Hampshire’s working families. Sununu's support for a bill that would raise taxes on hundreds of thousands of Granite Staters in order financially help families like his own and the Trumps shows that he is more interested in helping his friends, donors & corporate special interests than helping hard-working Granite Staters pay the bills every month."
