Concord, N.H. - In response to today's report by Gorman Actuarial showing that some Granite Staters will face huge premium hikes because of the Trump administration's attempts to sabotage health insurance markets, Governor Sununu used the report to instead try to undermine New Hampshire's successful Medicaid expansion program. NHDP Chair Ray Buckley issued the following statement: "Instead of twisting the facts about the bipartisan Medicaid expansion program that is providing quality, affordable health coverage to over 50,000 Granite Staters, Chris Sununu needs to work to get President Trump to stop sabotaging health insurance markets and raising costs for Granite Staters. The truth is, so many Granite Staters depend on Medicaid expansion, and it would be wrong for Sununu to try to end the program to satisfy special interests and President Trump."
