10 Ways to Take Action from Home

01

Commit to VOLUNTEER

The 2022 elections are quickly approaching, and we need all hands on deck to re-elect our federal delegation, take back the majority in our State Legislature, and elect a Democratic governor. If we can count on you to help Democrats organize in your community, let us know today and we'll reach out to you!

02

Run For Office

Are you interested in running for office? There are lots of elections coming soon, both in local and state levels. There's lots of progress and change that you can make in your community. Find out how to run!

03

WRITE A LETTER

Write a letter to the editor about something you're passionate about! You can write to support the work our Democratic leaders are doing to help NH, to support affordable health care and paid family leave, or to support a candidate! If you need help getting started, send us an email — we're happy to help.

04

USE SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is an important way to stay connected, stay engaged, and take action while in-person activism is on hold. You can use social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to share the good work Democrats are doing to help New Hampshire, share why you support certain policies, and to hold Republicans accountable.

05

share your story

We want to hear from you about what issues are important to you! Slate Goodwin is the New Hampshire Democratic Party's Political Director, overseeing all of our political programming. Click the button to send Slate an email about the issues that are important to you — and help us shape our priorities for the coming year.

06

Sign up for a training

We've launched a new series of virtual trainings where you can learn from and collaborate with the knowledgeable staff at the New Hampshire Democratic Party. With trainings on writing letters to the editor, using social media effectively, organizing great events, and more — there's sure to be something for everyone!

07

"MEET" YOUR ELECTED LEADERS

There are amazing Democrats representing New Hampshire in Congress, on the Executive Council, in the State Senate and the State House — and more! Take this time to read about the leaders who represent your community, and consider following them on social media to stay in the loop about everything they're doing!

08

get involved locally

Click here to get in touch with your local town or county Democratic Committee! You can find out about monthly committee meetings, local events, town halls, fundraisers, opportunities to represent your community, and more. Organizing at the local level, making your voice heard, and getting involved in the Democratic process is so important!

09

LEARN ABOUT CONSTITUENCIES!

We believe diversity makes us stronger! The New Hampshire Democratic Party has many different constituency caucuses that you can be a part of: Stonewall Democrats (LGBTQ+ Democratic Organization), NH Young Democrats, the Veterans & Military Families Caucus, the Women's Caucus, African American Caucus, Latino Caucus, NH AAPI Caucus, and more!

10

MAKE A DONATION

We understand that these are difficult and uncertain times, and there is a lot of need in our state. If you have the means to do so, consider making a contribution to help us build and support campaigns to elect Democrats in NH. Now more than ever, it's critical that we keep organizing in our communities so we can elect leaders who will fight for working people.
