On November 10, 2020, Chairman Ray Buckley of the New Hampshire Democratic Party announced the formation of the Task Force on Building a Blue Hampshire.

 

Chaired by former New Hampshire Speaker of the House Terie Norelli, the Task Force will explore the coordination and strategy of campaigns in 2018 versus 2020, and make recommendations for how to build for a successful 2022 election year and beyond.

The Task Force is going to seek out and welcome feedback and data from individuals and partner groups from all aspects of the campaign, and will host virtual listening sessions across the state to gather this information to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to have their voice heard.

 

The Task Force is made up of individuals from across the campaign spectrum in New Hampshire, and we are grateful for their continued engagement in this important effort.

The Task Force on Building a Blue Hampshire is excited to announce listening sessions across the state. These sessions will be virtual and are open to registered Democrats and Independents. We ask that you please RSVP via the appropriate link below. Registration for listening sessions will close 1 hour prior to the session start time in order to verify party registration. 

 

The Task Force is particularly interested in comparing the differences of the 2018 effort and 2020 election. In addition to these public listening sessions, the Task Force will also be hearing from candidates, staff and affiliate groups to get a full picture of the 2020 election efforts. If you are unable to attend the listening session in your county, we invite you to attend another virtual session that works for your schedule.

Our mission is to hear from everyone who wants to be heard in the way they want to be heard. Therefore, in addition to attending a listening session, feedback to the Task Force can be submitted in a number of ways including:

 

1. Scheduling a 1:1 or small group meeting with a member of the Task Force by emailing taskforce@nhdp.org. 

2. Reaching out to a Task Force member - the full list can be found on this page, below.

3. Submitting feedback or data to the Task Force in writing by emailing taskforce@nhdp.org. 

4. Filling out our General Survey.  

5. The Task Force will be requesting meetings with Federal, Gubernatorial, Executive Council, Senate and House candidates, constituency caucuses, and progressive groups. If you think one of these listening sessions would be a better fit, please email taskforce@nhdp.org.
